Best Junior Company of Europe 2024
From July 2nd to July 5th, 2024, we had the honor of representing Austria at the European Competition in Catania.
National winners from 41 countries showcased their companies, ideas, and visions before a distinguished and international panel of experts. At the award ceremony, our work was more than just recognized: we are proud to announce that we were named the JA EUROPE COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2024, securing Austria's first-ever European victory.
In addition to this prestigious title, we were also awarded the EmpowerHER National Signature Award and the Secure Future Food Award by EIT Food. Our CEO, Julian Zefferer, had the privilege of accepting the JA Alumni Leadership Award.
Next spring, we will represent all of Europe at the De La Vega Global Entrepreneurship Competition.

Triple Awarded - June 12, 2024
On June 12, 2024, we participated in the 90 Seconds Idea Competition in Klagenfurt. We were able to prove ourselves in two categories: we secured both the GREEN FUTURE AWARD and the YOUNGSTAR AWARD. Among the jury was "2 Minuten 2 Millionen" business angel Bernd Hinteregger, who was visibly impressed by our brewers' spent grain pasta.
Two days later, on June 14, 2024, we presented our Junior Company at the national finals of Next Generation in Vienna. With a successful business plan and a convincing pitch, we went home with 2nd place at the end of the day.
Double Success in Vienna - May 28, 2024
The national competition took place in Vienna. Once again, we were able to impress the jury and at the end of the day, we received the special award in the "Food & Drink" category as well as the title "JUNIOR COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2024." Our coach, Georg Frauscher-Emler, was named Junior Teacher of the Year. We are thrilled to represent Austria in the European competition Gen-E. Simultaneously, the national finals of Jugend Innovativ took place, where we achieved second place in the "Sustainability" category.
State Competition Styria - May 15, 2024
At the Junior Achievement State Competition in Graz, we impressed the expert jury through booth discussions, interviews, and the final stage presentation, emerging as the winners at the end of the day. Many thanks to the entire organizing team and the jury for this wonderful event.
Exhibition Opening at Schloss Trautenfels - March 23, 2024
At the opening of the special exhibition "Mensch, Welt und Ding. Eine Region erzählt" at Schloss Trautenfels, we were able to captivate numerous customers with our products at our sales stand. Appropriately, our pasta has been available in the museum shop since then. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mag. Katharina Krenn and Romana Rojer for this opportunity and look forward to a wonderful collaboration.
BEST OVERALL COMPANY in Vienna - March 18, 2024
Ceren, Flora, and Sarah successfully represented our Junior Company at the trade fair in Vienna. Through a compelling pitch and persuasive booth discussions, we were able to win the BEST OVERALL COMPANY Award. Many thanks to JA Austria, Ewald Hötzl, Ms. Markovic, and the expert jury for this fantastic event!
BEST COMPANY OF ISCF 2024 - February 29, 2024
During our successful journey to Riga, we were nominated in 4 out of 5 categories and managed to bring home the Overall Award for the Treberei! Big thanks to JA Latvia for this wonderful event. A heartfelt thank you also goes to our supporters and sponsors who made this trip possible.
#glaubandich Challenge - February 22, 2024
In the final of this year's Startup #glaubandich Challenge in the Food & Beverage category in Vienna, we had the opportunity to present our company and receive professional feedback from the expert jury.
Eli-Day 2024 - February 3, 2024
At the trade fair Eli-Day in Liezen, we emerged victorious against the other Junior Companies, securing the 1st place.
Youth Award U20 - February 7, 2024
During an awards ceremony hosted by Social Business Hub Styria, we had the honor of receiving the Youth Award U20. We were particularly delighted by the jury's quote, "They have understood the circular economy."
We Are in Retail - February 6, 2024
Starting today, our pasta is available at the following regional Billa stores: Haus im Ennstal, Gröbming, Irdning, Stainach, and Liezen (BILLA PLUS & ELI), as well as at Spar stores in Gröbming, Öblarn, Irdning, and Aigen im Ennstal.
Grand Opening of "Holzerei" - January 31, 2024
The Mini Junior Company "Holzerei" from Volksschule Gröbming has transformed the school snack into a true delight with their lunchbox featuring a personalized Swiss pine wood lid. We are delighted that our team could support them in this endeavor.
Elevator Pitch - November 17, 2023
Out of over 90 submissions, we were the only Junior Company to qualify among 16 finalists at the Elevator Pitch in Graz. With Anna Steinwidder's performance, we secured 3rd place, marking our first success following yesterday's opening ceremony.
